Like an Overheated Engine

July 18, 2008

So I’m so deeply workaholic that I make so much work that I often forget about all the work I’ve made.  I encountered these while looking through files today.  They’re taken at Fort Irwin, the actual ‘Fort’ part vs. the NTC/Fake Iraq.  (Or, the way things are going, Fake Afghanistan.)

These were just off-the-cuff snapshots but something about them works well in a way (a very Robert Adams way) that my more forcedly-conceptual projects sometimes don’t.   Still figuring this stuff out.  But they manage to summarize a lot about Fort Irwin in three images.  (Probably eventually edited down to one–I think I like #2 the best.)
