My friend Tom has been experimenting with a rewritten screensaver code that moves images across three screens randomly; there are more than 2000 images to choose from, a few of which are mine.

The requires processing power and hard drive space that I don’t have, though, so I put something together much more (appropriately) crude and spastic, “improvising” the add of still photos to the stream of a video in Windows Movie Maker (yeah I know) for a three minute flicker of loosely associated images.

I think there might be something to this fast and dirty way of doing things if, as with my friend’s project, you had multiple screens all looping videos out of sync but sharing some videos.  We’ll have to see whether I can make that happen, though.
