So the idea here is that images of my stints at Fake Iraq are jumbled with other more abstract images and eventually replaced by blanks. It’s maybe a title-dependent piece; maybe it just works visually. But these are all in the form of giant index prints as if everything in a given grid were taken during the same roll of film, which highlights the lack of authenticity in the process so people start questioning, I hope, the veracity and sequencing of the images. And this is a rough draft; I might redo it with a different spread of images.
