I also can’t stop reworking the squares either.  Here are two versions of the same picture, the top one of which is the keeper; some hue adjustment, some split movement, and some horizontal flipping and the image looks/”feels” very different.  This is the first body of work I’ve done that’s really heavily drawn on graphic design even beyond the Peter Saville influence, because I choose constituent elements, one of which is a photograph of a “painting”, and then I need to assemble them in a way that makes sense to me and also looks, if not pleasing, at least correct.  Whatever that means.
